Valerie Parizeault, Founder, Creative Head Honcho, Web Ninja Mama
After graduating from my graphic design degree in 1999, I started working in ad agencies which I hated at that time; I felt utterly small and frustrated in that jungle of an industry. Two years of cubic-hell later, I quit with the intention to never touch to graphic design again! After 4 years of living a creative boost at l'UQAM (L'Université du Québec à Montréal), I founded Rose Flash, which was initially my jewelry line; little by little, my new endeavour re-connected me with my love of design. I went back to my lost passion with a new sense of purpose: bringing to women fleeing the «cubes» and founding their businesses the help they need to have a great brand identity and great promotional tools. In my opinion, the world is a much better place with more successful business-women!
Valerie's jewelry and herself have appeared in magazines such as Fille Clin d'oeil, Loulou, Femme plus, METRO newspaper and Le Voir; she is also part of the book «Boss of you» by Emira Mears and Lauren Bacon. She was one of the finalist in the 2007 Women's Entrepreneurship challenge.

I really enjoy Vimeo, there are small gems in there that I sometime post on the blog. I also enjoy The Oatmeal a lot and who can resist I can has cheezburger, I ask you? - Who - or what- inspires you the most?
There is so much around me thats inspires me, from the gigles of my son to the hues of a vintage picture, or the tickling rain in my window. I guess true inspiration comes from living in the moment and being open to all the cues life trows at you. - Best Movie ever in your opinion?

My family (Chéri, Son and Minou, I call them my men) and friends, then I am into yoga a lot and I enjoy all things handmade, from a cookie to a necklace. - Coffee or tea?
One coffee in the morning (I used to drink 5+, I've cut back when I started hallucinating. Long story ^_^) and tea in the afternoon (I like spiced blends a lot, but also green tea and black ones, a heritage from my grand-mothers)
